About Us

The Association was formed on 25th March 1929 during a period of rapid development in the town, with the simple object of encouraging the preservation of amenities and the betterment of West Wickham (with no political affiliations).

The composition and character of our town, both in buildings and population, has changed considerably since those early days, but those objectives remain as relevant as they were then. Continued vigilance and effort is necessary to ensure that the area’s amenities, and quality of life, are maintained and improved.
