The High Street is gradually recovering after the lockdown of several months and businesses are returned as far as possible to normal trading. Please give them your support by shopping local, whenever possible.
Sadly The Lemon Tree closed on the 1st August after a presence on the High Street of around 20 years (10 under current ownership). It always offered something different to the shopping experience.
Other changes: Afters has altered its name to Bites & Melts. Two electric vehicle charging stations have been installed.

Bromley Council needs to be commended for continuing to keep our High Street clean and tidy and for planting a number of trees in the shopping area – outside Croft Radio, The Nationwide and Costa Coffee, as well as several in front of the parade of shops and businesses along Red Lodge Road.
The effect was marred by the arbitrary erection of barriers by Tfl on many short-term delivery and parking bays, ostensibly to facilitate social distancing, walkers and cyclists. Following objections, Some of these barriers have subsequently been removed.
Thanks again due to Bromley Council for the hanging baskets which have been an attractive addition to the High Street over several months.
