Good afternoon
We’re writing to provide you with some information about our work upgrading the local gas supply network in the Manor Park Road area of West Wickham. Our project involves the essential replacement of old metal gas mains with new plastic pipe to ensure we continue to provide a safe and reliable gas supply to the local area. Our contractor JDT Utilities is undertaking this work on our behalf.
In consultation with the London Borough of Bromley and Transport for London, we started our project on Monday 23 August and expect to last until the end of Dec 2021. Our engineers are progressing through the following roads upgrading our network.

Manor Park Road

Ravenswood Avenue
Ravenswood Crescent

We will be able to carry out majority of our project under a ‘give and take’ traffic management system. However, for everyone’s safety, we will need to close Manor Park Road in both direction at the roundabout with Wickham Road, A232 and Cavendish Way. To minimise impact to the local community, we have agreed with the local authority and TfL to close Manor Park Road during the October school holidays from 25/10/2021 to 29/10/2021.
