The former Bathstore (29 High Street) has re-opened as an independent business – Rouse Bathrooms. We wish the new owner every success.
A warm welcome to Franco’s Shoes, (Handcrafted Orthopaedic Shoemaker), which has moved into 122 High Street (formerly Medigem Mobility). Look out for the busy ‘model cobbler’ making shoes in the window!
Yet another Welcome, this time to Mr Taper (Barber) now trading in the former Elle Boutique (21 High Street)
Sadly, Party Chic (106 High Street), closed in August, but is still available for orders on-line. The premises is currently being used as a ‘pop up shop’, a first for West Wickham!
If you have ever struggled with what to do with your energetic toddler, the Ollie Poly Play Cafe may have the answer! The play cafe will be opening shortly in the former DIY store (25 High Street).
The Fish and Chip Shop on Glebe Way, which is under new management, is having a smart new make-over.
Philip Regate Auto Services Ltd., which has been providing garage services to the local community since 1989, will be closing in December. However, it is good to know that the garage and staff will still be there but will be taken over by Onodis who currently run the sales forecourt. We wish Philip and his family the very best for the future.
Shops and businesses in and around Red Lodge Road will be relieved to have the protracted refurbishment of pavements and roads finally completed.
And once again, make use of your shops! Hesitate before ordering that item on-line when it could very well be available locally, over the counter.
